Wordpress Developer - PHP/Javascript (3-7 yrs)

About the Job :

We are seeking a talented and passionate WordPress Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites for our clients.

This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress, front-end and back-end development, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

You will work closely with our creative team, including designers, content writers, and project managers, to bring projects from concept to launch.

Responsibilities :

Website Development :

- Design, develop, and implement websites using WordPress, including custom themes and plugins.

- Experience with Shopify is a plus.

Front-End Development :

- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.

Back-End Development :

- Manage the back-end functionality of WordPress websites, including database management, plugin integration, and performance optimization.

Theme and Plugin Development :

- Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.

- Adhere to WordPress coding standards and best practices.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate effectively with designers, content writers, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Troubleshooting :

- Identify and resolve website issues, including bugs, performance problems, and security vulnerabilities.

- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing websites.

Code Management :

- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.

- Utilize version control systems (e. , Git) for code management and collaboration.

Research and Learning :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development, including new features, security updates, and best practices.

- Continuously learn and improve your skills.

Client Communication (if applicable) :

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any questions or concerns.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and best practices.

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.

- Experience with PHP and MySQL.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable :

- Experience with Shopify development.

- Knowledge of SEO best practices.

- Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.

- Understanding of accessibility guidelines.

- Experience with project management tools.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
