Senior Wordpress Developer - WooCommerce (3-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate problem-solver with a strong understanding of WordPress development best practices.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites, collaborating with clients to understand their needs, and leading small teams.

Excellent communication skills, a proven track record of successful project delivery, and a deep understanding of WordPress, including plugin and theme customization, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Communication :

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, effectively communicating project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the development process.

- Gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

WordPress Development :

- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including custom theme development, plugin integration, and performance optimization.

Plugin and Theme Customization :

- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

- This includes modifying functionality, appearance, and integrations.

Page Builder Proficiency :

- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one popular WordPress page builder : Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg.

- Ability to build complex layouts and implement custom designs using these tools.

Plugin Integration :

- Hands-on experience with key WordPress plugins, including WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and various form builders (e., Contact Form 7, WP Forms).

Code Quality :

- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, adhering to WordPress coding standards and best practices.

Testing and Debugging :

- Thoroughly test websites and applications to identify and resolve bugs and compatibility issues.

Team Leadership (if applicable) :

- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support on projects.

- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Project Management :

- Contribute to project planning, estimation, and execution.

- Track progress and communicate effectively with project managers.

Nice to Have :

WordPress.org Contributions :

- Experience developing and deploying plugins on WordPress. org, demonstrating a commitment to the WordPress community.

WordPress Multi-Site Experience :

- Previous work on WordPress Multi-Site installations, demonstrating the ability to manage and customize websites within a multi-site environment.

Specialized Plugin Knowledge :

- Familiarity with plugins such as Dokan (e-commerce marketplace solution) and Peepso (social networking plugin).

Version Control :

- Experience using Git for version control.

Front-End Development Skills :

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Performance Optimization :

- Knowledge of WordPress performance optimization techniques.
