Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites, including the creation and editing of blogs, landing pages, web pages, event pages, and other website-relevant content.

- Implement custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.

- Ensure website functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot WordPress plugins, APIs, extensions, back-end functionalities, and integrations.

- Evaluate and select appropriate plugins to enhance website functionality and performance.

- Maintain optimal website uptime and ensure smooth performance.

- Optimize website speed, jQuery, PHP, SMTP, and JavaScript for improved user experience.

- Implement caching mechanisms and other performance optimization techniques.

- Maintain and optimize PHP files for efficiency and security.

- Execute website upgrades and ensure seamless transitions.

- Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices to improve website visibility.

- Complete end-to-end WordPress web development projects, including the creation of new landing pages, sections, and workflows.

- Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement website designs and content.

- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content teams.

- Provide clear and concise updates on project progress and technical issues.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3-5 years of proven experience in WordPress development.

- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

- Knowledge of website optimization techniques and performance tuning.

- Familiarity with technical SEO best practices.

- Experience with version control systems (e., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and1 collaboration abilities.

- Experience with Wordpress page builders like Elementor, or Divi.

- Understanding of responsive web design principles.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e., WooCommerce).

- Knowledge of website security best practices.

- Experience with cloud hosting platforms (e., AWS, Google Cloud)
