Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Head to lead and manage the P&L for our Digital Lending portfolio, spearheading its growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking business leader with a strong track record of success in building and scaling digital lending businesses within the Indian NBFC/Fintech sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of the digital lending ecosystem, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Management: Take full ownership of the Digital Lending business P&L, driving revenue growth, managing costs effectively, and maximizing profitability.
- Strategic Growth & Digital Innovation: Develop and execute innovative strategies to rapidly expand our digital lending footprint, acquire new customers through digital channels, and achieve ambitious business targets. This includes identifying and evaluating new product opportunities, distribution channels, and technology partnerships.
- Digital Product & Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with technology teams to define and prioritize the product roadmap for our digital lending platform, ensuring a seamless and user friendly customer experience.
- Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team (including sales, marketing, credit, operations, and technology) to achieve organizational objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to digital lending, with a strong focus on responsible lending practices and data security.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with the Managing Director, Executive Directors, Executive Management, and the Board, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities within the Digital Lending business.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape in the Indian digital lending market. Identify opportunities to differentiate our offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
- Partnership Development: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the digital lending ecosystem, including fintech companies, technology providers, and distribution partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Domain Expertise: 8-15 years of proven experience in the digital lending space within the Indian - NBFC/Fintech sector.
- A strong understanding of digital lending products, technologies, and customer acquisition strategies is essential.
- P&L Ownership: Demonstrated experience in managing a P&L and driving significant business growth in a digital lending environment.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must lead by influence.
- Digital Native: A deep understanding of digital channels, online marketing, and data analytics, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive business growth.
- Innovative Thinker: A creative and strategic problem-solver with a passion for innovation and the ability to think outside the box.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of thriving with minimal supervision.
