Data Architect - ETL (8-12 yrs)

Work Mode - WFO

Data Architect :

- Full Time Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and database design.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.

- Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Key Responsibilities :

Data Architecture Design :

- Develop and implement data architecture strategies and frameworks.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data storage solutions (data warehouses, data lakes, etc.).

Data Modeling :

- Create and maintain logical and physical data models that align with business needs.

- Define and document data flows, schemas, and integrations.

Database Management :

- Manage relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.

Data Governance :

- Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and security protocols.

- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Collaboration :

- Work closely with stakeholders, including data engineers, analysts, and business teams, to understand data requirements.

- Guide and mentor teams on best practices for data management and usage.

Technology Evaluation :

- Research and recommend emerging technologies and tools for data management and analytics.

- Lead the implementation of modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions.

Key Skills and Competencies :

- Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data integration.

- Hands-on experience with tools like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar platforms.

- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Java) and SQL.

- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi).

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

- Understanding of data governance frameworks, security protocols, and compliance standards.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
