Financial Analyst/ Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst skilled in P&L analysis, COGS, and SG&A. This role involves analyzing GL accounts to identify cost drivers, optimizing expenses, and supporting financial reporting, report building, and ad hoc projects to enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, through verbal and written communication (English).
• Perform in-depth analysis of General Ledger accounts to understand cost drivers and identify areas with higher-than-expected costs.
• Analyze COGS and SG&A to pinpoint inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain standard weekly and monthly reporting packages to provide insights into operational and financial performance.
• Manage financial data and build reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead and participate in ad hoc financial projects, offering analytical support to various business units.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to create accurate budgets and forecasts, focusing on cost control and expense management.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to gather data and provide financial insights.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting; master’s degree or CMA preferred.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis, particularly with P&L management, COGS, and SG&A.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in deep GL account analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills: experience with Power BI and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex financial data clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
