Store Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;following up on work results.
• Ensures Achieving of Store Targets on a regular basis
• Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees;planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintainingInventories.
• Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
• Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
• Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

• Someone strong with leadership skills and good at sales and motivating the team to convert
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is often preferred but not always mandatory.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a similar retail management role, ideally in the fashion of footwear industry.
• Knowledge of Retail Operations: Strong understanding of retail store operations, including inventory management, sales tracking, and visual merchandising.
• Customer Service Orientation: Exceptional customer service skills, ability to engage with customers, manage customer inquiries, and resolve complaints.
• Sales & Performance Management: Understanding of sales processes and ability to drive store sales and profitability through performance tracking, sales targets, and promotions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving Abilities: Able to handle unexpected situations in the store with creativity and quick thinking.

Work Schedule:

• Working Days: 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
• Shifts: The Store Manager is expected to work in rotating shifts to cover peak hours and ensure smooth store operations. The working hours would be 9 hours per day Rotating between (Morning, Mid and Closing Shift) - made by Manager itself
