Position Overview:.
- The Sr. Manager - Plant HR is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the plant, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with legal requirements.
- This role involves managing HR operations, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and industrial relations.
- The candidate will handle HR processes across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:.
HR Operations & Compliance:.
- Manage daily HR operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
- Oversee payroll management, statutory compliance, and HR audits.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, collaborating with plant managers to address workforce needs.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
Performance Management:.
- Manage the Performance Management System (PMS), overseeing goal setting, reviews, and evaluations.
- Facilitate calibration meetings to ensure fairness in performance assessments.
Training & Development:.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with department heads to address skill gaps.
- Implement and manage the annual Training Calendar and Budget.
Employee Engagement & Industrial Relations:.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Manage grievances and industrial relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and smooth relations with unionized workers.
Policy Development & Implementation:.
- Regularly update HR policies to reflect current work culture, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
- Manage disciplinary actions and conflict resolution fairly and effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:.
- Experience: 10 to 12 years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Education: Full-time MBA in HR from a reputed institute.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, payroll management, and statutory compliance.
Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in handling employee relations, labor laws, and compliance.
- Proficient in performance management, training, and development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage HR operations for multiple plant locations.
Other Details:.
- Six-day work week (Sunday to Friday, Saturday off).
- Role covers the Ambad and Gonde locations.
