Global Strategy and Product Management, Head Diesel Generator/DG Set Products


We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Strategy Head to lead strategic initiatives and drive business growth in the diesel generator (DG Set) sector. This senior leadership role will focus on defining and executing global business strategies, market expansion, product positioning, and competitive differentiation.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Develop and implement the global strategic roadmap for the diesel generator product line.

- Align business objectives with market trends and organizational goals to ensure sustainable growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategy execution.

Market Analysis & Positioning:

- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.

- Develop strategies to enhance market share and enter new geographies.

- Analyze competitor activities and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Business Development & Expansion:

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions to expand global presence.

- Lead initiatives for entering emerging markets and establishing distribution channels.

- Work closely with regional teams to localize strategies for different markets.

Product Strategy & Innovation:

- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to define product roadmaps aligned with market demands.

- Focus on innovation to meet regulatory standards, sustainability goals, and customer expectations.

- Develop pricing, positioning, and promotion strategies for product portfolios.

Operational Efficiency:

- Drive efficiency improvements across production, supply chain, and sales channels to enhance profitability.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure strategic goals are met.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with the leadership team, investors, and stakeholders to communicate strategy and performance.

- Represent the organization at global forums, conferences, and industry events.

Key Qualifications:

Education: MBA or Master's degree in Business Strategy, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 12+ years in strategy, business development, or a senior leadership role, in the diesel generator or manufacturing sector.

Skills:

- Expertise in strategic planning and execution in a global context.

- Strong knowledge of diesel generator/DG Set markets, trends, and technology.

- Proficiency in market research, analytics, and competitive intelligence.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to drive innovation and lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

- Experience in international markets with a focus on US market

- Knowledge of sustainable energy solutions and regulatory compliance.

- Familiarity with advanced technologies, including IoT and smart DG Sets.
