About the job:
Responsibilities:
- Identifying prospective Customers, Business Opportunities, Assessing Customer needs in terms of promoting our Freight Forwarding Services.
- Development of Air & Sea Volumes Ahmedabad and nearby location.
- Providing rates to assigned clients as per their requirement for Different Sectors and Different Ports within Principal's service profile.
- Developing new customer base along with retention of existing clientele.
- Follow-up with the Clients for Bookings on proposals and quote offered & convert inquiries to firm bookings.
- Achieving set commercial targets (volume / revenue).
- Generating Daily, Weekly and Monthly sales reports and submitting the same to HODs.
- Pro-actively search, qualify, develop and engage in new customer relationships.
- Outstanding Execution of Sales Strategies consistently across the assigned Zone.
Qualifications:
- Graduate / Post Graduate.
- 3 - 10 years' of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM software (e.g, Salesforce).
- Knowledge of freight forwarding software and tools.
- Experience in a specific industry or region.
