Quality Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming quality of raw materials, machined parts, fabricated parts, and welded assemblies meet customer specifications.
  
• Conduct inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Height gauge, Magnetic particle tester, Dye penetrant tester etc. to identify defects or deviations from standards.
  
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce rejections and increase productivity in the machine shop.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production planning, procurement, and vendor development to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, testing data, and certifications.
