Role & responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

1. Updation of transplant Committee Data on the Website of the hospital in defined TAT.

2. Timely updation of Competent Authority, Transplant Team Members to the Appropriate Authority (if any change in the members).

3. Counselling of Living Donor or Deceased Family for organ donation.

4. Living Donor Selection and scrutiny of the documents as per The Human Organ Transplantation Act 1994 & The Human Organ & Tissue Transplantation Rules 2014.

5. Completion of Transplant Cases file as per the Law.

6. Ensure timely Submission of data to DGHS and with NOTO/SOTO/ROTO.

7. Ensure the transplants are done as per the defined law, ensuring 100% compliance.

8. To coordinate for timely renewal of License for various Transplants.

9. To obtain permission for Living Donor Transplant.

10. In-house awareness session for the nurses, paramedics and support staff.
