Job Description

Role & responsibilities


Account Management & Expansion

  1. Build and nurture relationships with top-tier wholesalers, retailers, and corporate accounts.
  2. Identify, target, and onboard new key accounts, including large wholesalers and retailers.
  3. Expand the brands presence across existing and new territories within India.

Corporate Account Strategy


  1. Develop strategies to secure and grow partnerships with prominent corporate accounts.
  2. Seek out new corporate partnerships and maintain a strong network to support long-term growth.

Sales and Territory Development

  1. Establish territory-specific plans to expand the brand footprint and increase product penetration.
  2. Engage regularly with channel partners to strengthen business relationships and facilitate growth.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  1. Conduct regular competitive analysis to gain insights into market trends, customer demand, and emerging design preferences.
  2. Gain Insights from Current Customers to understand their demand 
  3. Share actionable insights with the design and production teams to influence product offerings.

Product Development & Outsourcing

  1. Collaborate with the design and production teams to contribute to product development and selection.
  2. Optimize outsourcing decisions based on market needs and cost-efficiency, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement


  1. Gather and analyze feedback from key accounts to refine the product lineup and improve customer satisfaction.
  2. Participate in post-sales analysis to identify areas for improvement in process and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 - 15 years of experience in sales management, ideally within the fashion apparel or occasion wear industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in the textile sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence buying decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a sales team (if applicable).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (preferred).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
