UK Accounting - BookKeeping

1. Manage complete bookkeeping for UK based clients.
2. Recording income, expenses, purchases, sales, Bank Reconciliation and other financial activities into accounting software.
3. Tracking outstanding invoices, customer statement reconciliation, following up on overdue payments, and recording payments received.
4. Tracking outstanding bills, Vendor Statement reconciliation, Pay-run report, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
5. Creating monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
6. Handling VAT returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
7. Payroll posting and managing expense claims.

UK Payroll:-

1. Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, inputting data such as new hire, leavers, overtime, commission, wages etc.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to date payroll data.
3. Strong knowledge on UK Tax codes, National Insurance
4. Operating knowledge of Auto-enrolment and Pension upload.
5. Calculate statutory payments such as Maternity, Paternity and Sick pay.
6. Handle end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients.
7. Ensure timely submission of post payroll reports to HMRC. (RTI, FPS, EPS).
8. Stay updated with UK payroll legislation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
9. Address any payroll related compliance issues and implement necessary changes.
10. Interact with client to gather payroll related information & address queries.
11. Generate payroll reports for management and clients as required.
12. Analyse payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies

UK Year end accounts and BTR:-

1. Preparation and review of working papers, financial statements as per UK accounting standards (FRS)
2. Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts
3. Day-to-day deliveries of each engagement to ensure the Quality and TAT is maintained
4. Complying with daily submission of time sheet, updating workflow systems.
5. Client Communication, raising queries to the clients and replying them.
6. Support colleagues and departments in resolving accounting and budgetary issues.
7. Prepare adjusting journals as necessary.
8. Provide technical accounting advice and support to juniors
