Assistant Manager - CNC Turning

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager CNC Turning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the CNC section. In this role, you will oversee production efficiency, quality, and coordinate with the team to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

• CNC Machine Programming & Setting:
  
• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines to ensure efficient and precise production of parts.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to achieve required specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, programs, or processes.
• Manpower Management:
  
• Supervise and manage the workforce in the CNC turning section.
• Assign tasks, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and support for continuous improvement.
• Quality Control:
  
• Ensure parts are produced within tolerances and specifications, meeting quality standards.
• Perform regular quality checks and coordinate with the quality control team to maintain high standards.
• Production Efficiency & Reporting:
  
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the CNC turning section runs efficiently and meets production targets.
• Maintain and report on key performance metrics such as cycle time, machine uptime, and defect rates.
• Implement process improvements to optimize productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in CNC turning machine programming, operation, and setting.
• Strong knowledge of CNC turning machines, tools, and cutting parameters.
• Experience in team management and a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good understanding of quality control standards and production processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
