Cnc Supervisor/Engineer

As a CNC Milling Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient operation of CNC milling machines. Your primary duties will include interpreting engineering drawings, setting up machines according to machining requirements, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drawing Analysis: Study and understand machining requirements based on detailed engineering drawings.

2. Tooling and Machine Setup: Possess extensive knowledge of job tooling and setting up machines according to the scope of machining.

3. Safety Management: Maintain a zero-accident work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.

4. Precision Measurement: Expertly handle and check tolerance dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, slip gauges, and inside/outside micrometers.

5. Quality Control: Document quality records, make necessary changes, deburr, measure, and ensure all machining processes meet quality standards.

6. Machine Operation: Set and regulate machine controls including speed, feed, coolant flow, and angle of cut to optimize machining processes.

7. Troubleshooting: Identify machine malfunctions and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.

8. Machinery Experience: Demonstrate hands-on experience with HMC, VMC, and CNC milling machines, particularly with Fanuc and Siemens controls.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Milling Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and requirements.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controls is highly desirable.
