Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Associate with a strong background in accrual-based accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in accounting, including month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis. Experience in team handling is essential, as you will lead a team to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks. You will work closely with internal teams and clients, supporting month-end processes and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Team Handling and Supervision: Supervise and review team members work, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks. Provide guidance, support, and conduct performance reviews to maintain high standards of efficiency and quality.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Processing: Process AP/AR transactions, ensuring accurate entry of invoices, receipts, and deposits, managing 50+ transactions daily.
• Bank, Credit Card, and Loan Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations for bank, credit card, and loan accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across all accounts, including bank and loan accounts.
• Journal Entries for Month-End Closing: Prepare journal entries for month-end, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and loan entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Accrual Basis Accounting: Apply accrual accounting principles, ensuring proper revenue-expense matching, accruals, and adjustments are accurately recorded during month-end closing.
• Daily/Weekly Financial Reporting: Generate daily and weekly financial reports, ensuring timely submission and highlighting any variances.
• Month-End Schedule and Reports: Prepare month-end schedules and financial reports, consolidating key data for review by senior management.
• Support US Client with Month-End Closing: Assist US clients with month-end closing by gathering financial data and ensuring all entries are completed on time.
• Inter-Company Accounting: Process inter-company transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation of balances at month-end.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Strong spoken and written English skills, as the role involves client-facing responsibilities and requires clear communication with clients and internal teams.
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other advanced functions.
