Key skills for the job
The position is a content and branding role reporting to AVP - Marketing. In this position, you'll be responsible for supporting and executing content and other marketing campaigns for the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Marketing:
- Support content creation and distribution to promote the firm's products and services
- Lead and support the development of thought leadership articles, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, and other marketing collateral. Optimize and repurpose content for various marketing channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate ideas and create content
- Manage the design and creative process for marketing materials, ensuring engaging and consistent branding
- Measure the impact of content marketing initiatives and optimize future efforts
Brand Building and Client Engagement:
- Support initiatives to enhance brand recognition with industry bodies, media, and analyst relations firms
- Support branding-building activities including industry awards, earned media opportunities
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing collateral.
- Align firm-wide branding and communications efforts
- Manage client engagement activities, including communications, feedback, annual client forums, events, and content for upselling and nurturing
Research and Market Intelligence:
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and content marketing best practices to build domain expertise and inform marketing initiatives
- Curate relevant industry news and insights from relevant media outlets to stay informed and inspire new content ideas
- Gather intelligence on emerging themes to support the development of thought leadership materials
Required Experience/Skill Set:
The desired candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of B2B marketing experience in a fast-paced environment
- 4 years of marketing experience with a focus on content marketing preferably in technology marketing/consulting / financial services / Big 4
- Master's degree in communication, Media Studies, English, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
- Impeccable English communication skills, both written and oral
- Skilful in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy with strong conversion-oriented copywriting skills
- Creative ideas for design
- Stellar teamwork, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial fast-growing environment
- Experience working with multiple business teams to accomplish marketing objectives
- Relevant certifications/courses in copywriting, creative writing etc. will be good to have
