Technical Project Manager - Payment Consulting Firm - MENA Region - Contractual (12-15 yrs)

Our client, a UAE-based organization serving both the UAE and KSA markets, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month engagement in Dubai.

This role requires a leader capable of overseeing tech squad implementations and coordinating Scrum Masters to streamline daily operations and technical delivery.

What You Will Be Doing -

1.Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and handover.

2.Budget Control: Develop cost estimates, track expenditures, and make informed decisions to manage costs without compromising quality or scope.

3.Team Leadership: Manage embedded software development teams (tech squads), providing project and program-level support to Scrum Masters, or directly fulfilling these responsibilities in some instances.

4.Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact, coordinating with external vendors and internal team members.

5.Strategic Program Oversight: Lead high-visibility programs comprising multiple teams or workstreams, identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks throughout project delivery.

6.Meeting Facilitation: Chair and minute weekly project meetings, using strong organizational skills to drive performance and align cross-functional teams.

Your Background -

Experience: 12-15 years of experience in project management, ideally with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2).

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of tech stack implementations across various tiers, with proven experience in Agile/Lean and waterfall methodologies.

Skills:

1.Exceptional communication and customer service skills, enabling collaboration with executive-level stakeholders.

2.Strategic thinking skills with experience managing diverse teams and complex projects, particularly in financial services.

3.Proficiency in stakeholder management and ensuring alignment within and across teams.

4.In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, networking, cloud computing concepts, and emerging technology trends.

This is a 12-month contractual role based in Dubai, UAE and you will be required to relocate.
