Mobile Engineer Quality Assurance

Job Description:
We are seeking a Mobile QA Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in mobile analytics testing for both iOS and Android platforms. This role focuses on ensuring accurate data capture for analytics, compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA, and performing manual testing and debugging of analytics tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mobile Analytics QA:
   
• Work closely with product, marketing, and analytics teams to validate the capture of KPIs and ensure proper analytics reporting for mobile apps.
• Conduct code audits and discover mobile UI components for which analytics tracking is enabled.
• Debug mobile-specific analytics instrumentation for iOS and Android applications.
2. Event-Based Tracking QA:
   
• Develop and validate event-based data layer frameworks to capture user interactions across mobile applications.
• Perform ongoing QA and audits of analytics tracking for data accuracy and compliance with analytics platform requirements.
3. Collaboration & Debugging:
   
• Coordinate with analytics solution engineers to understand high-traffic zones and UMA Analytics instrumentation.
• Debug JavaScript embedded in web and mobile applications to ensure seamless interaction with analytics tools.
4. Data Accuracy & Integration:
   
• Ensure accurate data integration across multiple internal systems, technologies, and external vendor applications.
• Collaborate with enterprise data warehouse teams to verify that appropriate metrics are being collected and processed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks for mobile apps.
• Knowledge of advanced debugging techniques and mobile analytics QA best practices.
• Understanding of privacy compliance regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and their impact on mobile tracking.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and debug complex analytics implementations.
