Automation Engineer Quality Assurance

Job Description:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in mobile analytics testing for both iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing robust automated test frameworks to validate mobile app analytics, ensuring accurate data capture, seamless integrations, and compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mobile Analytics QA:
   
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and analytics teams to capture and validate critical KPIs for web and mobile analytics reporting.
• Conduct code audits and discovery of mobile UI components to ensure analytics tracking is properly implemented.
• Debug mobile-specific analytics instrumentation for iOS and Android applications.
2. Test Automation Development:
   
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks for iOS and Android using Swift (XCTest/Quick) and Kotlin (Espresso/MockK).
• Design and execute unit tests and functional tests to validate analytics data capture, integrations, and reporting.
• Ensure automated testing frameworks align with analytics instrumentation requirements.
3. Event-Based Tracking QA:
   
• Develop and validate event-based data layer frameworks to capture user interactions across mobile applications.
• Perform ongoing QA and audits of analytics tracking for data accuracy and compliance with analytics platform requirements.
4. Collaboration & Debugging:
   
• Coordinate with analytics solution engineers to understand high-traffic zones and UMA Analytics instrumentation.
• Debug JavaScript embedded in web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless interaction with analytics tools.
5. Data Accuracy & Integration:
   
• Ensure accurate data integration across multiple internal systems, technologies, and external vendor applications.
• Collaborate with enterprise data warehouse teams to verify that appropriate metrics are being collected and processed.

• Experience with A/B testing frameworks and tools for mobile apps.
• Familiarity with advanced debugging techniques and mobile analytics QA.
• Knowledge of privacy compliance regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and their impact on mobile tracking.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and debug complex analytics implementations.
