Application Support Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for applications, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Utilize in-depth understanding of the loan life cycle, repayment schedules, and accounting principles to resolve issues and optimize processes.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), delivery timelines, and conduct regular support calls.
• Collaborate with users to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Document support processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in application support or a similar role (work ex- 5-6 year).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices is a plus.
