Job Purpose:
The Executive - Application Support will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and troubleshooting for IT applications across the organization. This role will ensure that applications are running efficiently, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with internal teams to improve application performance. The role requires an individual who can contribute to enhancing the overall user experience and supporting business operations through effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Support:
Provide timely support for applications used within the organization, ensuring smooth functionality and minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or other departments related to application performance.
Monitor application performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
Work with the IT team to apply software patches and updates to applications as required.
Assist in the identification of recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve overall application reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes or enhancements based on user feedback.
Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as a point of contact between end-users and IT teams for application-related issues.
Communicate with different departments to understand their application needs and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
Ensure that stakeholders are kept informed of the status of ongoing support requests and solutions.
Assist in the documentation of application issues, resolutions, and improvements to build a knowledge base.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving the functionality and performance of applications.
Participate in user training and provide guidance on the effective use of applications.
Contribute to the testing and deployment of new application features or upgrades.
Help ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards in the usage of applications.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
BE (Computer Science), BCA, or related technical qualifications.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT application support or related roles.
Experience in the Banking and NBFC related applications preferred (Experience in support for applications like LOS, LMS, Collections)
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g., .Net, MVC, APIs, and database integration) is preferred.
Experience with troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications is an advantage.
Knowledge of IT security practices and basic understanding of cloud technologies is a plus.

Internal:
Work closely with IT teams, including development, infrastructure, and operations, to resolve application issues.
Communicate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure application performance meets requirements.
External:
Interact with external vendors as needed for support on third-party applications or services.
