Test Engineer - Loan management

Role & responsibilities

• Understand the business and functional requirements specified in the documentation provided by the software vendor.
• Assist the BA/lead in preparing test strategy/test plan.
• Formulate the test scenarios, test cases, ensure it is reviewed from business end in order to provide conformity to all the business requirements (BRD) mentioned in the documents provided.
• Configure and use any testing tool (if any) to carry out the testing
• Preparation of test ware, test data, maintain RTM. Prepare test ware and ensure that all test wares are signed off from stakeholders.
• Execute the test ware. Plan & arrange KT session with client and resolve all blockages for smooth testing. Execute Functional and end to end scenarios to ensure coverage. Screen shots of executed test cases in the end-to-end flow, which have passed/failed has to be screen recorded.
• Retesting of bug fixes and also retest them from functional flow.
• Arrange defect meeting with relevant stakeholders. Maintain & track defects, publish reports, and ensure that defects are taken to logical conclusion post stakeholder concurrence. Defect/observation has to be recorded with screen shots/screen recordings
• Maintain data which will assist in publishing project status. Highlight project risk to lead.
• Provide MIS to BA/Lead as per requirement. Maintain project related documents like project knowledge, functional flow, case study.
• Submit all the testing documentation to the BA/Lead and assist them in preparing test summary report.
• Conduct SIT, UAT, functional testing, regression testing. Regression testing has to be performed with automated tools.
• Example of functional verification
• Verification of user interfaces (UI/UX) which includes - data type errors, Field widths, Navigational elements, Progress bars, Type-ahead, Table scrolling, Working shortcuts, etc.
• Testing screens through testing types like Negative testing, Boundary value testing which includes verification of fields, screens.
• End to End Testing
• Functional Testing (Black Box testing)
• Regression Testing
• Business Workflow testing
• User profile testing
• Multi Browser testing

Mumbai location only

• MBA, BE, ME, with loans experience comprising of Loan origination, loan management.
• Overall 1+ years of experience.
• Knowledge on loan application like salesforce, Fin one will be plus
• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on agri financing, e.g. district level credit plans, implementation of GoIs development schemes,
