Job Description

Position Summary

The role of the Inside Sales Representative is to help the company in increasing sales to new customers by ambitiously, targeting new leads available through marketing. The role requires the employee to be comfortable making dozens of calls, emails, and texts per day, working with customers and sales team leads, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.


Responsibilities

  • To discover and follow new leads from sources like: SKF Inside Sales, Meta (Social Media), and by regularly contacting and investigating new leads available through IndiaMart (buy leads) page
  • Filter good and bad leads, based on criterion of products required, area of customer and type of customer/value
  • Follow up leads by making cold calls and through emails/whatsapp etc and develop them into opportunities for the company
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives and managers for further development and closure through the CRM
  • Close sales if possible and help in achieving quarterly self sales targets
  • Escalate any customer grievance or specific/urgent requirement to the respective manager or supervisor
  • Conduct self-performance reviews and aim at exceeding targets and making plans to achieve gaps
  • Provide weekly and monthly marketing metrics of Leads to Opportunities conversion, number of leads received, tracked, connected and converted to opportunities.
  • Log daily activity and report any difficulties to the manager
  • Provide feedback to Sales Managers/Management from time to time on effectiveness of marketing sources of leads including coordination with marketing agencies

Knowledge

  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
