Key Responsibilities
- Communication Skills:
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills to effectively engage with international buyers.
Buyer Engagement:
Follow up and directly call buyers, explain our products, and generate orders. Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the Middle East, Africa, and other regions.
Market Knowledge:
Candidates should have a well-versed knowledge of the world map to identify and understand market demographics and opportunities.
Experience:
Prior experience in sales of rice and food commodities in the international market is essential.
Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate with different vendors outside of the organization, managing communication and logistics.
Data Management:
Maintain and update Excel files with data and leads to track and analyze sales efforts.
Ideal Candidate
Experience: A background in international sales and marketing, particularly in rice and agro commodities, is preferred.
Proactive Approach: Ability to proactively seek out new business opportunities and develop strategies to engage potential buyers.
Analytical Skills: Strong skills in data analysis and lead management to optimize sales performance.
Cultural Awareness: Understanding of cultural nuances in various international markets to tailor communication and sales strategies accordingly.
