As a key member of our Finance team, reporting to the Director of Accounting Operations, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments to ensure accurate and timely application of cash to customer accounts.

With a flexible hybrid working schedule, you can enjoy the best of both worlds engaging in-person collaboration at our Hyderabad, India office, while also enjoying the autonomy and comfort of remote work.

What You ll Do:

Daily processing of cash receipts and postings to customer accounts, including charging payments made by credit card, other adjustments to customer accounts for credits/debits and account write-offs.
Participate in a team environment by assisting coworkers with completion of daily, month-end, and quarter-end workload when necessary.
Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies.
Identify daily unapplied amounts, post to customer accounts, call on back-up and provide AR.
Maintenance of records for auditing purposes (filing remittances, bank statements, approved write offs).
Processes inquiries and research requests received by the collections team to resolve customer account discrepancies and/or questions.
Reconciles accounts daily.
Special projects as assigned within the department.

Who You Are:

You re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:

An associate or bachelor s degree in accounting or business.
5 years experience in a similar position.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience with multinational enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate across all levels of the organization.
A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent team collaboration skills.
The ability to multi-task, handle interruptions, and maintain flexibility in assignments.
Fluency in English language.
