Business Development Manager

• Identify and prospect potential clients in the market to generate new business opportunities for Orange DataTech.

• Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and target companies to optimise lead generation efforts.

• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound calls, emails, networking, and other lead generation techniques.

• Develop and execute effective sales as well as marketing strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and promote Orange DataTechs services.

• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the unique value proposition of Orange DataTechs solutions.

• Understand client requirements, pain points, and objectives to propose tailored solutions and create compelling proposals.

• Negotiate and close business deals with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and project managers, to ensure seamless project handover and successful client onboarding.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the management team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

• A Masters degree is a plus.

• At least 3-4 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation through email marketing preferably in the Tech or software services.

• Understanding of data engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning concepts.

• Demonstrated success in generating leads, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with prospects and internal stakeholders.

• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.

• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and generate reports.
