Vendor Manager

Desired Profile :

Certification in Vendor Management is a MUST.

Hands on experience on Vendor Management Services.

Minimum 7 years of total experiences in Vendor Management (5 Years of relevant hands-on Experience)

Specialize in Vendor Management Service

Availability to work as per customer requirement.

Ability to understand services will cover the IT vendors and principles of customer, who provide infrastructure and services to other than Vendor.

Good in technical communication, documentation & Consistent process oriented.

Good understanding about ITIL or equivalent process. Working in-line with customer requirement

Technical & Functional Skills

• The services will cover the IT vendors and principles of CUSTOMER, who provide infrastructure and services to CUSTOMER, other than Vendor.
• Maintain the database of Vendors associated with CUSTOMER and log the calls as per the situation on these vendors.
• Manage Customer Internal IT Team as a vendor providing services to end-users in the areas of SAP, Support of legacy systems etc.
• Coordinate with the respective vendors in escalating and getting the problems resolved as per service commitments to Customer.
• Undertake contract management, in terms of keeping CUSTOMER abreast of the hardware and software contracts, and to an extent undertake negotiating the contracts with these vendors on behalf of CUSTOMER.
• Analyse the performance of the vendors, on their service commitments, vis a vis their service delivery, and make recommendations to CUSTOMER on their continuance.
• Inform CUSTOMER on any deviation in the service delivery of vendors, and initiate action on CUSTOMERs behalf.
• Vendor will scout the market for new vendors who bring in new technology or cost-effective delivery mechanisms and inform CUSTOMER of the same.
• Should also possess good communication skills. In addition, they are responsible customer requirement.
• Good Communication skills and ability to coordinate with customer stakeholders.

Experience & SLA

• Minimum 7 years of total experiences in Vendor Management Services (5 Years of relevant hands-on Experience)
• Coordinating with vendors to ensure that at least 90% of the calls logged on them are resolved within the times stipulated in their maintenance contract entered with Customer Measured on a quarterly basis.
• Conduct at least one review per month with every major Vendor.
• Liaisoning & providing data to customer to conduct the WCS IT audit within the Scheduled period.
• 100% data support to CUSTOMER to have the success to complete WCS IT audit within time.
• Expert in communication, documentation & Consistent process oriented.
• Expert understanding about ITIL or equivalent process. Working in-line with customer SLA & follow escalation for quick resolution.
