Deputy Manager Vendor Management

Job Purpose :

Evaluate, qualify & approve vendors & maintain approved supplier database to support all Cipla units for regulatory audits and customer audits and ensure raw/ PM material manufacturing facility meets desired standards to supply desired quality materials

Accountabilities

1. Review, evaluation and approval/ reapproval of RM/ PM vendors as per applicable SOPs.

2. To maintain SAP database of approved vendors (RM/ PM) and to escalate any issues related to vendor approval/ audit to section head.

3. To update Q-info record in SAP system.

4. To conduct vendor audits of RM/ PM vendors and to prepare vendor audit report as per SOP.

5. To track and take follow up for the audit response and CAPAs from vendors to ensure its timely closure.

6. To coordinate with cross functional team for finalization of confidentiality agreements, Quality Technical Agreements.

7. To initiate, investigate and evaluate deviation, change control initiated in vendor quality department and approve/ disapprove, wherever applicable.

8. To provide required support to manufacturing units and to resolve queries related to vendor approval and documents during various customer &/or regulatory audits.

9. To conduct risk assessment in case of any events such as, but not limited to Warning letter/ NOC/ NCR/ Recall, audit denial by manufacturer, etc.

10. To provide effective and appropriate CAPAs for observations cited during regulatory/ customer audit related to vendor management procedures.

11. To implement CAPAs and ensure timely close out of deviations.

Education Qualification:

M. Sc/B. Pharm (pharma education preferred)

Relevant Work Experience:

5-7 years in pharma manufacturing unit QA or vendor management
