Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Vendor Management Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a 8-12 years of experience working within the automotive manufacturing industry. This individual will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services, and overseeing the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
● Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers in the automotive manufacturing sectors to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
● Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, and procurement) to ensure that vendor deliveries meet the necessary specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
● Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and resolving any disputes or issues that arise.
Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate vendor performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency. Provide feedback to vendors and implement corrective actions as necessary.
● Inventory and Order Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely supply of materials and components required for production.
● Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all vendor communications, contracts, performance reports, and order statuses. Prepare regular reports for management to ensure visibility into the status of vendor activities.
● Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving any issues related to vendor deliveries, quality concerns, or other supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications:
● Education: Bachelors / Masters in Engineering.
● Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in vendor management, supply chain management, or procurement in the automotive manufacturing industry and EPC manufacturers.
● Skills & Competencies:
■ Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management best practices.
■ Ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively.
■ Proficiency in using ERP systems and other supply chain management software.
■ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
■ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
■ Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in both automotive manufacturing and EPC sectors.
Familiarity with vendors in Hyderabad is preferred.
Experience with Zoho Inventory and Zoho Purchases is an advantage.
