- Proven experience in crafting and developing highly scalable, highly available, high-volume web applications , backend and middle-tier applications
- Proven experience in developing, maintaining and debugging sophisticated PL/SQL packages Procedures and Functions and strong SQL knowledge including tuning and fixing experience
- Understanding of Data Modeling concepts and Database design concepts
- Understanding of modern cloud infrastructures; ideally the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience in developing modular UI frameworks and their API interfaces
- Proven ability to design and develop microservices and their supporting structures
- Understanding of cloud-based identity management systems, for both authentication and authorization
- Experience with application containerization, and ideally Kubernetes
- Hands-on development experience with
- Oracle JET constituent technologies: HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Knockout, jQuery, RequireJs, Node.js, CSS3 and SASS
- Relational databases, including SQL and Stored Procedures; ideally Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
- Java for web applications, including Jersey JAX-RS, JDBC and related EE technologies
- Authentication and Authorization technologies
- Design and architecture APIs, Web/REST Services
- Excellent understanding of Agile development methodology
- Experience following a full lifecycle SDLC process, including creating technical designs, build and unit testing for complex requirements
- Technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality deliverables
- Collaborate closely with UX design and software development teams
- 3-5 years of experience relevant to the functional area
- Prefer Retail software development experience
- BS or MS degree or equivalent relevant to functional area
