Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager to lead and drive our test automation strategy, frameworks, and execution. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the automation testing lifecycle, managing a team of test engineers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to enhance test automation coverage, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and improve software reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Strategy Framework Development - Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
Leadership Team Management - Lead and mentor a team of automation test engineers, fostering a culture of quality.
Test Planning Execution - Oversee test automation strategy, test case design, and execution for web, mobile, and API testing.
Continuous Integration DevOps - Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Tool Selection Optimization - Evaluate and implement automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, etc.
Performance Security Testing - Ensure coverage for performance, security, and scalability testing.
Defect Management Reporting - Establish best practices for bug tracking, defect triage, and test reporting using Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.
Process Improvement - Continuously enhance test automation processes, ensuring best practices and high efficiency.
Required Skills Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in automation testing quality assurance, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.).
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automation tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Expertise in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, ALM.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner.
Exposure to AI-driven test automation and RPA tools.
ISTQB or other QA certifications.
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
