JP Morgan Chase - Transfer Agency Operation Analyst (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary: As a Fund Servicing Senior Team Member within our Operations Department, you will be tasked with the responsibility of managing transfer agency operations, processing, and resolving inquiries.

Job responsibilities:

- Process and validate tasks and investigate/resolve breaks in accordance with the established work practices and procedures

- Work with various internal transfer agency teams such as fund implementation group, trade processing, settlements, cash processing & account opening to process transactions and resolve any exceptions in a timely manner

- Respond to and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner

- Understand Risk Management with ability to manage issues and exceptions above materiality thresholds for resolution

- Ensure all day-to-day queries are handled within required timelines and escalate issues as necessary

- Attend internal onshore partner meetings, usually via conference call, to ensure needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded; ensure resolution of follow up items

- Actively involve in projects within the team

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

- Knowledge of Transfer agency / reconciliation / trades & settlements / KYC/AML or strong financial markets product knowledge

- Good analytical and problem solving skills, including taking the initiative to drive change and enhance controls

- Self-starter and ability to learn quickly

- Good oral and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate strategic messages clearly and consistently with the team, making linkages to individual goals and accomplishments

- Good partnership and team player capabilities

- Proactive in identifying and escalating issues

- Bachelor's degree
