Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide timely feedback and support to team members.

- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team members.

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

- Define test coverage, identify test data requirements, and implement risk-based testing approaches.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.

- Lead the development and implementation of automated test suites using frameworks like Appium, XCTest, or Espresso.

- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and scripts.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Execute manual and automated tests on various devices and platforms.

- Log, track, and prioritize defects in bug tracking systems (e. , JIRA).

- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and generate comprehensive test reports.

- Leverage AI/ML tools to analyze application behavior, requirements, and historical data to automatically generate test cases and improve test coverage.

- Implement and improve quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Advocate for best practices in mobile app testing and quality assurance.

- Test and validate API integrations, ensuring data accuracy and system stability.

- Utilize tools and techniques for API testing, such as Postman or other API testing tools.

- Effectively communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and senior management.

- Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.

Experience :

- A strong background in mobile app testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in QA and 2-3 years of experience in handling the team.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in testing mobile applications on various platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) and using relevant testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, etc.

- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Swift, or Kotlin would be beneficial.

- Knowledge on any AI tool that supports mobile application/Web & API

- Knowledge on API integrations, Rest API

- Leveraged AI in their quality assurance process to achieve many exciting feats: Analyze application behavior, requirements, and historical data to automatically generate test cases, covering various scenarios and edge cases.

- Ability to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for mobile applications.

- He should have experience in defining test coverage, test data requirements, and risk-based testing approaches.

- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of QA testers and coordinating their activities.

- He should possess excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and motivate team members.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in working within Agile development environments.

- Knowledge of tools like JIRA for test case management and defect tracking would be advantageous.

- Proficiency in mobile app test automation using frameworks such as Appium, XCTest, or Espresso.

- Experience in developing and maintaining test scripts and frameworks would be highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge of bug tracking systems (e. JIRA) and experience in reporting defects, analyzing root causes, and tracking their resolution throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Understanding of the challenges related to testing on multiple devices, screen resolutions, and operating systems.

- Familiarity with mobile device farms or cloud-based testing platforms like Firebase Test Lab or AWS Device Farm would be a plus.

- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document issues effectively.

- You should possess strong analytical skills to identify patterns and trends in testing results and suggest improvements.

- Proficient in creating test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and release notes.

- Attention to detail and excellent written communication skills are essential.

- Passion for staying updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile app testing and quality assurance.

- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Mobile Application Testing Certification or any other recognized industry certifications would be a valuable addition
