Openplay Technologies - Quality Assurance Lead - Mobile App Testing (6-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of QA testers, fostering a collaborative and efficient testing environment.

- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android).

- Implement risk-based testing approaches to ensure thorough coverage.

- Automate mobile app testing using frameworks like Appium, XCTest, or Espresso.

- Develop and maintain robust test scripts and frameworks.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues effectively.

- Analyze root causes and track defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

- Utilize JIRA or similar tools for test case management and defect tracking.

- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication of testing goals and results.

- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in mobile app testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in QA, with 2-3 years of experience leading a team.

- Strong background in mobile app testing and quality assurance methodologies.

- Proficiency in testing mobile applications on various platforms (Android, iOS).

- Experience with relevant testing tools like Appium, Selenium, XCTest, Espresso (a plus).

- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Swift, or Kotlin (beneficial).

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA for test case management.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficient in creating test documentation (plans, reports, release notes).

- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices.

- Graduation from a recognized university (any specialization).

- Relevant certifications like ISTQB Mobile Application Testing Certification (a plus)
