Job Summary:

Onix Renewable is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP Projects to lead and manage solar captive, IPP solar, rooftop, and ground-mount projects. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong track record in executing large-scale solar projects from conception to commissioning while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of solar captive, IPP solar, Rooftop, and ground-mount projects.
• Develop and implement project management strategies, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with renewable energy policies and state/national guidelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, and construction) for successful project delivery.
• Manage relationships with government authorities, utilities, vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and process efficiency in project execution.
• Implement technical innovations and industry best practices for improved project performance.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and board members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred).
• 10-15 years of experience in the solar energy sector, specifically in solar captive, IPP solar, rooftop, and ground-mount projects.
• Strong expertise in project management, EPC execution, and regulatory approvals.
• Proven leadership experience in large-scale solar project execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Experience dealing with government agencies, DISCOMs, and regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, MS Project, and related tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience handling multiple solar projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in solar captive and IPP solar projects.
• Strong industry network and stakeholder management skills.
