Oneture Technologies - Technical Lead - Python/Node.js (4-6 yrs)

About The Role :

As a Backend Lead, you will utilize your technical expertise and hands-on development experience, while working in client-facing roles, including interactions with senior client stakeholders.

You will work on projects in capital market domain, serving at scale of millions of daily active users. This position involves working within a high-performance computing environment, managing cloud-native applications that handle real-time streaming data and a web and mobile trading platform with lakhs of concurrent users.

In this role, you will assist in contributing to cross-functional development, and demonstrate strong technical skills and solution architecture expertise.

You will work along with the Technical Delivery. Manager to identify customer business objectives, recommending technical solutions, and managing specific aspects of project scope, schedules.

You will also coordinate team and ensure your contributions help achieve project milestones effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend systems in the Capital Market domain.

- Solution Architecting, design, effort and timeline estimates and building and maintaining the same

- Lead the implementation of AWS solutions and best practices, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

- Coordinate and manage a team of 4 to 6 developers, ensure code quality and code review process.

- Mentor and work closely with junior developers on day-to-day project work efforts

- Overall ownership of the technical project planning, underlying solutions developed and deployed by the development team

- Client communication, status update, stakeholder expectation management especially with client's business and tech stakeholders

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

- Create strong practices around test driven development, automating delivery of applications with strong CI/CD practices

Qualifications :

- Master's (M. Tech., M. ) or Bachelor's degree (B./ B.Tech) in Computer Science or equivalent from reputed institutes like IIT, NIT preferred

- Overall 4-6 years of experience with minimum 2 years of relevant experience and a strong technical background.

- Experience working in mid size IT Services company is preferred

- Domestic / international Capital markets, stock broking, mutual fund, stock exchanges, investment banking experience will be a major plus.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Node, Go Lang, Java, Python, .Net or similar for backend development.

- Knowledge in high-performance computing and optimization, including network-level packet sniffing, turnaround time, data compression, and technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets, Redis, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL.

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Experience with writing and maintaining unit-tests, functional tests, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of common technologies such as REST web services, OAuth, JSON, XML, SQL.

- Experience in Unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

- Proven expertise in AWS services, particularly in architecting and implementing solutions for large-scale projects.

- AWS certifications (e., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Professional / Speciality certification) are a strong advantage.

- Ability to think from a product mindset.

- Experience working on large, complex transactional systems is preferred

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

- Hands on experience in Designing, Coding and release management.
