SQL Developer - Job Description

Job Overview :

- We are looking for a SQL Developer who will be responsible for meeting the reporting and analytics needs of key business functions through development of data pipeline, ETL and data models.

- We are looking for someone that is a functional developer focused on business requirements rather than a pure platform developer.

- The right candidate must be self- directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products.

- Strong software development skills, to translate user requirements into high quality working applications

- Good analytical mind in solving business problems, and a strong desire to understand both technical and business functions.

- Good team player with the willingness to collaborate with development teams, system teams, and customers

- Self-starter who is motivated to take up new challenges

- Excellent command of English and effective communicator in verbal, listening and written communication

Education level : Bachelor's degree (B./ B.Tech) in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute.

Required Technical Skills :

- Minimum 2 years in advanced SQL and PL/SQL development experienced

- Strong knowledge in data ingestion, ETL, star schema and data Modeling concept in Data Warehouse

- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Java, JavaScript, Unix/Linux environment is beneficial

- Knowledge in Python development is preferred

- Knowledge in object storage such as S3, Hadoop ecosystem, such as Spark and Airflow

- Good understanding of Agile Methodology and CI / CD software development practice

- Knowledge of AI / ML is a bonus

- Web API, BI tools are preferred but not required
