Oneture Technologies - Backend Engineer - SWIFT Payment System Integration (1-4 yrs)

About Role :

We are seeking an experienced .NET developer to work on a SWIFT payment system integration into our financial services platform.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SWIFT protocols, secure financial transactions, with a focus on the latest migration from SWIFT MT to MX (ISO 20022) messaging standards and hands-on experience in developing and integrating payment systems using .NET technologies.

You will play a critical role in building solutions from scratch, iterating quickly, and getting them client/market-ready.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and integration of the SWIFT payment system into the existing platform using .NET technologies.

- Implement SWIFT messaging standards (MT to MX migration) for various financial transactions including payments, transfers, and confirmations.

- Ensure that the payment system complies with industry security standards such as encryption, authentication, and data integrity protocols.

- Conduct unit and integration testing for SWIFT-related functionality to ensure accurate transaction processing and data consistency.

- Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation related to the SWIFT integration, including system architecture, APIs.

- Implement integration points between SWIFT applications and backend services

- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development and SWIFT.

Required Technical Skills :

- 1 to 4 years of experience in backend development using .NET Core or ASP.NET.

- Good understanding of SWIFT Payment Protocols and how to integrate them with backend services.

- Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Proficiency in working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and handling large transaction datasets.

- Familiarity with encryption methods, secure data transmission, and authentication mechanisms in financial systems.

- Good understanding of security principles and best practices in backend development.

- Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in sprints.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SWIFT, particularly in understanding SWIFT data structures and communication protocols (MX / MT)

- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
