Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director - Digital Planning to lead the planning and execution of digital media strategies across various channels. In this role, you will oversee a team of planners, work directly with clients, and play a critical role in developing and optimizing digital campaigns that drive business results. You ll lead digital innovation, leveraging emerging trends and data-driven insights to shape effective media plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of digital media strategies that align with clients overall marketing objectives and business goals.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of digital planners and analysts to deliver top-tier campaigns, ensuring quality and creativity in execution.
  • Integrated Campaign Planning: Oversee the creation of integrated digital media plans across programmatic, paid social, search (SEM), display, video, and mobile channels.
  • Client Management: Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, fostering strong relationships and providing strategic direction to align digital media efforts with client expectations.
  • Campaign Analysis & Optimization: Monitor campaign performance and provide strategic optimization recommendations. Ensure KPIs are met or exceeded by applying data-driven insights.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of digital trends, new platforms, and industry innovations to ensure campaigns are cutting-edge and utilize the latest technologies.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Work closely with media vendors, technology platforms, and publishers to negotiate deals and implement new opportunities for campaign execution.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage and optimize media budgets across channels, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum ROI while adhering to client guidelines.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as creative, content, and analytics, to ensure cohesive and integrated campaigns.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in digital media planning, with a proven track record of leading successful multi-channel digital campaigns.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members, as well as work cross-functionally with other departments.
  • Expertise in Digital Channels: In-depth understanding of digital channels, including programmatic, paid search, social media, video, and mobile advertising.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Experience managing senior-level client relationships and delivering complex, strategic media solutions.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Proficiency in using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar to derive insights and optimize campaigns.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field. Certifications in digital media (Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, etc.) are a plus.
