Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-Day Accounting Function: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring the timely closing of books on a periodic basis, including periodic bank reconciliation, provisions/accruals, ledger scrutiny, and managing vendor & employee payments.

• Statutory Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance with respect to GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other regulations, including timely return filing.

• Audit Management: Handle internal, statutory, GST, and tax audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are maintained for successful audits.

• Fund Flow Preparation: Prepare daily fund flow positions and maintain strong relationships with bankers to facilitate financial management.

• Invoice and Order Verification: Check RA bills, work orders, purchase orders, and other related documentation for accuracy and compliance.

• Data Flow Understanding: Understand the process of data flow between trading and accounting systems, ensuring proper reconciliation between the systems to maintain financial accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
