Assistant Taxation Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Taxation Manager to handle our company's direct and indirect tax compliance, reporting, and filings. The role involves managing Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other tax-related matters while ensuring compliance with all tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Tax:

• Prepare and file annual Income Tax Returns and Tax Audit Reports.
• Follow up on tax refunds and open assessments with the Income Tax department.
• File SFT and obtain Lower Tax Deduction certificates.
• Manage Deferred Tax Assets (DTA) and Deferred Tax Liabilities (DTL).
• Handle TDS compliance, including timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
• Ensure compliance with foreign remittances (Form 15CA & 15CB).

Indirect Tax:

• Compute and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-3B, GSTR-1) for 5 registrations (expanding to 20).
• File annual GST returns (GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
• Maintain input tax credit registers and ensure proper credit utilization.
• Resolve GST-related discrepancies with vendors and respond to GST notices.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxes (Income Tax, GST, TDS).
• Experience with tax filings, assessments, and compliance.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with different teams and manage deadlines.
