Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - API Testing (4-6 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA - Web & API Automation Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and API applications through the development and execution of robust automated tests.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites for web and API functionalities.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and identify testing scenarios.

- Identify, log, and track defects effectively using bug tracking tools.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to testing processes.

- Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and QA best practices.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.

- Strong proficiency in Selenium with Java for web and API testing.

- Experience with other automation frameworks like Playwright is a plus.

- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (STLC).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,1 Engineering, or a related field
