Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our expanding IT sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and maintaining client relationships. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the IT industry and a proven track record of success in sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Qualification:
    • Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email marketing, social media, networking, and industry events.
    • Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making process.
  • Sales Process Management:
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Understand client needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
    • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
    • Provide feedback to the product development team based on market insights.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
    • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Client Meetings:
    • Schedule and conduct in person and online client meetings.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the companies IT solutions.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in IT sales.
  • Hands-on experience in managing the end-to-end sales process within an IT company.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions and services (e.g., cloud computing, software development, cybersecurity, managed services).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Plus Points:

  • Previous experience working with the Microsoft sales team or a Microsoft partner company.
  • Existing network of contacts in the IT industry.
  • Experience selling Microsoft products or services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
