Quality Engineer - Thermal Spray Coating

Role & responsibilities

• Laboratory sample preparation and evaluation for thickness and microstructure analysis
• Able to read & understand customer drawings & specifications
• Prepare deviation reports & share to customer
• Final inspection for quality parameters and visual inspection
• Internal daily calibration of quality equipments
• Monitor & assist in on time external calibration of quality equipments.
• Involve in internal & customer complaint analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure process are in line with standards (QMS, EMS, Internal operation standards). 
• Inform Quality manager for quality related issues.  
• Working & handling shifts for day-to-day quality activities.
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process and quality system.
• Interaction with customers on day-to-day requirements 

Required education, experience, knowledge 

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical /Automobile Engineering 
• Min 5-7 Years of experience in quality inspection of thermal spray coatings
• Knowledge on QMS -IATF16949 / AS91000D

Required skills & expertise 

• Customer oriented approach.
• Experienced in managing team of 3-5.
• Good English communication and team building skills
• Expertise in problem solving techniques
