Manager technical services

POSITION SUMMARY: 

              Cloud engineer with extensive knowledge on AWS, VMC (VMware on Cloud) and Azure. Successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert consultative solutions with a focus on cloud services (AWS, VMC on AWS, Azure, OCI), Automation, Computing architectures including Infrastructure Operations, cutting edge technologies like AI/ML ops. Experience in handling large scale enterprise projects ad Cloud security controls. 

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge on Windows and Linux OS 
• Ansible, Terraform (IaaC) and Automation experience.
• AI/ML operations
• AWS services like EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, AWS Direct connect, Route Tables, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail
• Route53, Load Balancers, WAF
• VMware cloud on AWS, SDDC, NSX-T
• Management Gateway, VMC Firewall, SRM/Vsphere replication
• CI/CD Devops model
• People management
• Excellent leadership skills

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Cloud Computing (Hybrid/Public Cloud consumption), Automations/Operations
• Very Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated collaborative abilities among all levels of management and customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to produce clear and detail technical documentation.
• Ability to analyze and interpret performance data.
• Translate complex business requirements into cloud solutions.
• Develop overall cloud solutions including HLDs and LLDs
• Assist Operations teams with problem solving and escalations.
• Understanding knowledge of VMware virtualization, VMware cloud on AWS, AWS cloud services
• Understanding knowledge or working experience on multi cloud solutions like AWS, Azure, VMC on AWS, OCI, etc.,
• Working in an end-to-end Production environment with managing multi-cloud infrastructure
• Able to determine and resolve issues, should be a proactive ticket closure within SLA.
• Join the Sev-1 and Sev-2 incidents calls and handle the outage or crisis management.
• Document the issues and present them as an SOP or KB article.
• Person should possess ability to learn, have good communication skills and a team player.
• Customer centric approach
• Cloud migration projects and enterprise level project handling skills at all levels.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor/Masters degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field, or the equivalent combination of education (Graduation)
• AWS/Azure certification/Training/Certifications will be added advantage.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in IT architecture/Cloud engineering

WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

• Willing to work 24x 5 shift and escalation handling (on call)
