Department Brief :

- Data Center Services is responsible for Implement, coordinate, and administer/support systems based solutions (Unix, Windows, Networking, and/or Security) providing reliability and performance for all of FactSet's applications that utilize these systems.

Job Responsibilities :

- Lead and develop a skilled team of Infrastructure Operation engineers.

- Monitor and report on Infrastructure and process KPIs, devise and implement enhancement strategies, and perform regular system audits.

- Operate and maintain efficient, reliable network, systems, and Kubernetes-based infrastructure, spanning both physical and cloud environments.

- Facilitate the establishment and management of ITIL processes for Service Operations and Service Transition, in support of DevOps methodologies.

- Enhance infrastructure event management processes and modernize monitoring tools in collaboration with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.

- Develop, extend, and refine scripts to automate operations, aiming to reduce manual and repetitive tasks.

- Maintain effective inter-departmental communication and ensure IT infrastructure alignment with organizational objectives.

Job Requirements :

- Proficient with complex on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

- Experienced in infrastructure automation tools and technologies, including Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes.

- Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Jinja, and YAML.

- Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, systems, firewalls, and network security.

- Well-versed in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

- ITIL certification with/or substantial ITSM experience in large-scale Infrastructure Operations.

- Over 7-10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
