Position Summary:
The Manager of Strategic Finance will support enterprise-wide financial analytics and modeling initiatives. This position will be focused on developing and ensuring the alignment of all models and analytics with a direct financial impact on the organization. This position is expected to have deep modeling experience, thorough proficiency in related technology, and solid knowledge of the mortgage business. This role will partner with teams outside of Finance that maintain responsibility for the development and maintenance of analytics and models affecting their business unit or department. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models including profitability, liquidity, and cashflow forecasts over near-term to long-term periods.
- Aggregate data and ensure the accuracy of data and metrics.
- Work with a cross-section of leadership and team members throughout the organization to understand, develop, and share ad hoc analytics, reports, and models.
- Work with Finance senior leadership to support the financial data strategy for Finance including the centralization of key metrics and model results that financially impact the organization.
- Contribute to multiple projects through all phases in a timely and effective manner.
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, especially across locations and time zones, in the execution of projects and identification/resolution of deficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
- Self-motivated; ability to independently analyze, lead, and present with very limited guidance.
- Ability to partner with all levels of management to ensure effective implementation of time-sensitive initiatives and identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle changing priorities, and meet deadlines; must be able to handle stressful situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to analyze and present complex financial information concisely with clarity.
- Competencies in problem-solving, decision-making, creativity, and organizational skills while showing good judgment and execution within a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented in all functions.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Financial Analytics with increasing levels of responsibility, including an advanced level understanding of model development and hands-on experience in model building in Excel and SQL
- Minimum of 3 years' mortgage experience required with experience in both origination and Servicing preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Technology or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL and MS Excel required.
WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Mid Shift (2pm to 11pm)
