Site Engineer

We seek an experienced and efficient Site Engineer to join our engineering/construction team. In this role, you will oversee diversified aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and on-site supervision. You will ensure all project components align with engineering and design specifications, industry standards, and regulations. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, fostering seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential challenges, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of the project.
• Analyse and interpret engineering plans, blueprints, survey reports, and technical documents to guide the construction process.
• Plan and oversee the allocation of resources, materials, and equipment to enhance project efficiency.
• Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Provide technical guidance to address and resolve construction-related issues.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, change orders, and quality control measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 4-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, AutoCAD, and other construction-related software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Experience in assessing and interpreting technical data, including survey reports and blueprints.
• Excellent project management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
